Fashions R Boutique was birthed out of a labor of love. Owner, Juanita Morris with her husband Webster Morris at her side, had a love for helping women coordinating and accessorizing clothing. The motto: “Fashion doesn’t make you but it does make a difference”. Juanita enjoyed making women look like a million without spending a million dollars! After losing her job in the marketing industry her husband and family encouraged her to do something that involved her favorite hobby: shopping. Juanita started a small business in the basement of her home. Her husband and four sons designed the basement to represent a store location by setting up racks and shelves that were later filled with beautiful clothing, purses and jewelry. Family, friends and associates were invited to her home to attend fashion shows where they found themselves walking the runway as models.
As the business grew she moved to a storefront. Each location was designed to represent an upscale boutique setting by her husband, Webster Sr. & their four sons, Webster Jr., Anton, DeShon & LaRon Morris.

During the development of Fashions R Boutique several associates came on board to further the progress and growth; Mark Morris & Bertha Ewing as the management team, Verdell Gill and Sylvia Eckford were the original seamstress. We were later joined by Debra Davis & Luceter Blackman as sales associate and Marilyn Williams as seamstress. This team along with owner, Juanita Morris work very well together and have shared many years in service. The alteration shops goal was to tailor all clothing to fit that “just right body!” The alteration department’s Motto is “Altering the world one garment at a time!”
Fashions R Boutique survived the Ferguson riots of 2014 which caused looting and a complete loss of our building and everything inside due to a fire which was set. Of course the loss was disappointing, however we trusted God, that what the devil meant for evil, God turned it around for good! Fashions R Boutique is a business that puts God first.
Fashions R Boutique prides itself as being the largest black owned operated boutique in the St Louis – East St Louis areas. Fashions R Boutique has been blessed to still be in business because we value customers and pride ourselves with great service.
